BeProfitly ("we", "us", or "our") provides AI-powered profit analysis for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you connect your Shopify store to BeProfitly, we access and store the following data through the Shopify API using read-only scopes:

• Store information (shop domain, store name, currency, timezone)
• Orders and line items (order totals, financial status, created date, shipping info)
• Products and variants (title, price, cost per item, SKU)
• Inventory levels
• Refunds and transactions

We also collect your email address and authentication information when you sign up, and any product cost or ad spend figures you enter manually.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your store data is used exclusively to provide profit analysis inside BeProfitly. Specifically:

• Calculating revenue, cost of goods sold, fees, net profit, and margin
• Generating AI-powered insights about losing products, inventory risk, and profit health
• Displaying charts and KPI dashboards inside your account

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share individual store data with other BeProfitly users.

3. Third-Party Services

To operate BeProfitly, we use a small number of trusted service providers as data processors:

• Supabase — database and authentication (hosted on AWS)
• Vercel — application hosting
• Stripe — subscription billing
• OpenAI — generating analysis text from aggregated metrics (raw order-level PII is not sent)
• Shopify — the source of your store data

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored encrypted at rest in Supabase (PostgreSQL on AWS). Access is protected by row-level security so each user can only read their own store data. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect your Shopify store at any time from the dashboard, which removes our access token. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will process the request within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification. Continued use of BeProfitly after changes means you accept the updated policy.
