Welcome to BeProfitly. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BeProfitly (the "Service"), operated by BeProfitly ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

BeProfitly provides AI-powered profit analysis for Shopify merchants. We connect to your Shopify store (with your permission), calculate profit metrics, and generate insights and recommendations.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.

3. Free Trial and Subscription

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full Pro access, no credit card required. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription at the then-current price (currently $9 per month). Subscriptions auto-renew each billing period until canceled. You can cancel from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no pro-rated refunds are provided for partial periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to process stores you do not own or have authorization to access

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of your store data. You grant us a limited license to access, store, and process that data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. AI-Generated Insights

BeProfitly uses AI to generate analysis and recommendations from your data. These insights are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, or business advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the Service.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that calculations or AI insights will be error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeProfitly and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You can terminate your account at any time by canceling from the dashboard or emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data will be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
